Toys for Tots
We will once again conduct a Toys 4 Tots campaign this season to support underprivileged children in our community. In collaboration with Troop E, we will collect unwrapped toys from mid-November to mid-December (the exact dates will be finalized by Troop E). Please contribute to this noble cause by dropping off your unwrapped toys on the side porch of 4 Birchwood Drive by the designated deadline. We will inform you once we have confirmed the dates.

Thanksgiving Raffle
At our October Meeting on October 21st, we’ll kick off the raffle ticket sales for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner raffle. Tickets are priced at $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.00. You can purchase tickets at the October and November board meetings, or you can also buy them anytime from Christina at 4 Birchwood Drive.
The raffle basket will be filled with a delicious assortment of goodies, including a turkey (thank you so much, Shaun and Trina from 37 Birchwood!), stuffing, vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, desserts, and more. Shaun and Trina have even offered to smoke the turkey for the lucky winner if they choose.
The winner will receive their basket on Sunday, November 23rd, and the desserts will be delivered on Tuesday, November 25th. If you can support us by purchasing tickets, it would be fantastic. Additionally, any donations of basket contents would be greatly appreciated.
Please leave your basket donations on the side porch of 4 Birchwood Drive by Monday, November 17th. Every little bit helps, and we truly appreciate any support you can provide.

Pre Annual Meeting Social Hour
The Social Committee will be hosting a “SOCIAL HOUR” before the Annual Membership Meeting being held on Saturday, September 20th, from 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM. If you would like to socialize with your neighbors before the summer ends, please join us. We will provide the coffee and bottled water, so bring your favorite goodie to share and join us.

Park Breakfast
Everyone is invited, the more the merrier. Please sign up at the bulletin board by Wednesday, August 20, if you can join us. We look forward to seeing you there.
Annual Park Party
Join your neighbors at our annual Park Party! Festivities will be held at a different location this year, as our park field is unavailable. The activities will take place at 30 Birchwood Dr.
There will still be lots of great food and activities. Bring your favorite side dish, chair, and beverage. We will provide ham for dinner, bottled water, a corn hole tournament, and lots of fun.
Activities begin at 3:00 PM with our Yankee Swap. If you would like to participate in our annual Yankee Swap, bring your wrapped gift and join the fun. We will eat a ham dinner around 4:30 PM and our First Annual Cornhole Tournament will begin at 5:30 PM.
We will be selling our Pot of Gold Raffle Tickets ($1 each or 6 for $5), so please bring an extra dollar or two. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!

Pot of Gold tickets will be sold at the annual park party and during the monthly board meetings. $1.00 per ticket or $6.00 for five.
Toys for Tots Campaign
In the spirit of the season and our ongoing efforts to give to those in need, our Tamworth Pines Community will work with the Troop E State Police barracks and participate in this worthy program.
If you can participate, leave an UNWRAPPED toy on the side porch at 4 Birchwood Drive between November 20 and December 3. We will ensure that the gifts are delivered in time for distribution to the children in the area.

Thanksgiving Basket Raffle
The Social Committee is again this year raffling off a Thanksgiving Dinner Basket. Contents will include a turkey (approx. 15 lbs), stuffing, vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and desserts.
Tickets will be sold ($2 each or 3/$5.00) at BOD meetings or by Christina Brown (631-721-5993) @ 4 Birchwood Dr. or Coreen Allard (603-452-8487) @ 51 Black Bear Rd. until Tuesday, November 19, 2024
The winner will be drawn at the BOD meeting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
The basket will be delivered to the winner on Sunday, November 24, 2024, and desserts on Tuesday, November 26th. Please help us by donating one of the basket items; the Social Committee greatly appreciates your support.
